The continued reduction of SOCOTECO II power supply allocation results to the following load forecast:
NATIONAL POWER CORPORATION - 10 Megawatts (MW)
THERMA MARINE, INC. - 28 MW
MAPALAD POWER CORPORATION - 27 MW
SOENERGY INTERNATIONAL - 12 MW
The total supply of 77MW falls short against its peak demand of 120MW. With this, the previously released schedule of four hours may be increased if situation continue to worsen.
Meanwhile, STEAG Unit 1, coal-fired power plant with 110MW capacity, may help mitigate the worsening power scenario if successfully restored to Mindanao grid anytime within the month.
Thank you for your consideration.
